Accessibility Statement

Updated October 22, 2026.

Access and inclusion

Start Biting aims to make its public information welcoming and usable for people with disabilities. Clear headings, descriptive links, readable text, and image descriptions help people navigate the site in different ways.

Report a barrier

If you have difficulty using a page, email info@startbiting.org with the subject “Website accessibility.” If safe, include the page address, what you were trying to do, the barrier you encountered, and a safe way to respond. You may describe a format that would make the information easier to use. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or personal experience of abuse.

Scope and limitations

This statement does not claim that the website has passed an independent accessibility audit or conforms to every accessibility requirement. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines provide a reference for reviewing accessibility and improving web content.

External websites, including independently operated support services, have their own accessibility features and assistance channels. If an external link presents a barrier, you can report it using the contact above.

Urgent needs

Website accessibility messages are nonurgent inquiries. If you need immediate support, use an appropriate emergency service or the independent support resources linked on our homepage.

For nonurgent inquiries: info@startbiting.org. This inbox is not a crisis service. Please do not send sensitive personal information or details of abuse by email.

Quick exit does not erase browsing history or prevent device monitoring. Read our safety information.
